‘Art has always been my favourite way to express myself and let my creativity come to life’ says Joy Hawkridge, artist, hairdresser, makeup artist and musician who was born in Germany, grew up in South Africa travelled around the world to come, live and create in London. ‘I put a lot of passion and energy into my work and I want to give some of that to the world though my art a true sense of happiness, calmness and peace, I want people to look at my work and just stare at it for days, loosing themselves in a somewhat uplifting feeling of joy.’ adds Joy.
